Dental obturations
As regards dental decays, the affected tissue is removed and, depending on the size of the cavity, restorative materials are applied to restore the tooth from the functional and aesthetic point of view. With the evolution of dentistry, various materials have been used, starting from the known amalgam (“metal inlays”) up to the latest generation materials with zirconium particle inserts and nanoparticles that allow the reproduction of an ideal aesthetics and give particular resistance to obturations.
